Pidcocks in Cheshire and Lancashire

My Pidcock ancestors came from the Warrington area of England, but I have not seen any reference to this branch in any of the online resources.

James PIDCOCK was born in Latchford, Cheshire, about 1820. He does not appear in the 1841 or 1851 censuses, but turns up in Warrington (then in Lancashire) in 1861, married to Eliza KENNIDY from Dublin and with a daughter Charlotte PIDCOCK (1850), also born in Dublin. I deduce that James must have spent some time in Ireland. There was also a Mary PIDCOCK (1816) living in Grappenhall, Cheshire, in 1841, who may be related to James.

James and Eliza's other children were Michael, James, Joseph, Mary Ann, Eliza, Henry, Elizabeth, Mary Ellen, and Sarah Ann.

Joseph PIDCOCK (1856) was also born in Latchford. He was my great-grandfather. The whole family later moved to Monks Coppenhall, Crewe, Cheshire (about 1866), and later to Widnes, Lancashire (before 1891).

If anyone has any more information about this branch of the family, I'd be very glad to share.
