Bill, Just wanted to let you know I believe you were correct with James Lord marrying Alice Elston. I just came back across this post, and in the meantime, I had come across a death certificate for James Lord in Fall River, Mass in 1902. His mother was listed as Alice Elston, but I believe this was his wife's name rather than mother. Someone possibly made an error in the reporting of his parents, either mistakenly or purposely. His mother was also Alice. The death record lists James as living in England, died in Fall River, Mass, and remains returned to England for burial, which would fit in with hearing about a brother that had died in Fall River and returned to England for burial. Thanks again, just wanted to let you know what I had come across after your posts in case anyone in the future may be searching. Elizabeth Notify Administrator about this message?
