Hi Christine,
I have come across Phil Lea's tree, and found some of my family also listed in this tree. My family meets up with John Pickup, born 1827, married Betty (Lord) Pickup in 1852 at Goodshaw, All Saints. Their children, George Pickup, Mary Alice, and Jared/James Pickup, all born in Crawshawbooth.

Betty's parents, George and Alice (Sutcliffe) Lord listed as border's on 1861 census. Betty's brother John Lord came to the US, and this is the line I am decended from.

Interested in hearing if your Pickup's match up with my Pickup's that you are aware of.

Thank you for any info able to provide.

Elizabeth Lord
