Hi Jill,
No I don't have any info on John, born about 1803. My Great, Great Grandfather John (wife Mary Conolly) was born in 1823 and I'm presently searching records prior to this date for any family connection. I don't know much about his father John Pickup yet, but working on it.
Your great uncle's Marriage Certificate came up when I was searching for someone who it seems could likely be a relative of ours. More time should present more info. This family has little info, but I'm finding more now.
Am I correct in understanding you have a Marriage Certificate for John born about 1803? If so, could you tell me any details please, e.g. parents, work, where married especially? You can see more detailed info on my family on my latest messages on this board which might be helpful, especially if your John is from the same area. As I said in a previous message, our family's so BIG, it's entirely possible there are many connections, if I can just go back further and also find my Great Grandfather Joseph's siblings.
