Marriage Certificate dated October 10, 1849 for John Pickup and Mary Conolly, shows John was a widower at age 26. They were married at Pilkington and John was a Hand Loom Weaver, living on York Street in Great Bolton. His father's name was John Pickup also.
Am looking for John's children from his first marriage, as there may have been two families of children.
