Your Grandfather is/was my Uncle Ernie, Your grandfather had a Brother called Arthur Pickup lived at Whitelea, married Doris had two children Elizabeth (Betty) and a son called Edward Greensmith Pickup (Edward after my father).He also had a brother called John Richard married to auntie winnie had one son peter - auntie winnie died when Peter was Eleven years old then he married Dorothy. Edward was born after John (known as Jack) and I am Edward's only child - Marilyn - Edward married Emily Hodgson Aspden from Drighlington. Then Auntie Kath was born - Married to John Bernard (known as Jack). Greensmith comes into the family because of Great-grandma Angelina.
Walter Greensmith Pickup - Had a Brother called Arthur who was a Pharmacist at Blackpool - one of his children became a Vet. His other Brother (I cannot remember his name) was in the Derbyshire Police - either Chief Constable or deputy.
