I have mainly traced the spouses (females) back into Germany. I haven't had much luck past Richard Pickrell & his wife Amelia Marlow, except that his father was named Samuel Pickrell Sr, and he married a woman named Catherine. I am assuming at this time, although I haven't found any evidence to support it, that since he is referred to as Sr., there was a Samuel Jr.
