HELP!! John Pickell, USMA Class of 1822
Posted by: David Eckert Date: March 17, 2002 at 10:00:15

Can anyone tell me more about this man. He was born in Pensylvania and died at the age of 63 in 1865 in New York. He was a Colonel of a Civil War Brigade until he became too ill to serve in 1862.

He served in the Army in the 1820s and 1830s on the Frontier and in the 1835 second Seminole War in Florida.

I want to know who he married, his children, where in PA he was born and who are his parents? Is he related to Baltus Pickel.

David Eckert
