Henry Pickett and Lorena "Rainey" Adair Pickett

I am trying to find out information regarding my great great grandparents, Henry Pickett (1834-1874) and Lorena "Rainey"(1835-1925). I have heard from many sources that they were Native American. As I have never seen a picture of him, I don't know. As for Rainey, my grandfather told me she was and I have seen a picture of that to me indicates she was. I know of 5 children of this union.
Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. I have that Henry's parents were Thomas O. and Margaret Pickett.
