Thanks for the quick response.Getting the name straight is important to me because I'm looking for siblings of John F. Pickett and there are Rhodas in that family.My aunt was one of them, and it's a rather unusual name for a Christian family.I'm also trying to identify the brothers of William Pickett, whose daughters Mary Ann and Margaret Jane married into the Skinner family.I'm hoping that John is one of the brothers (John F.) and possible Charles -- that would make the tie pretty certain to George E.*
The WV Picketts lived in WV in the late 1790's when it was still VA but apparently, the one gal was here in the late 1880's so I'm thinking that maybe it's a daughter?I'll get into Bob Howard's info; he probably has it, and I'll get into mine and let you know who they were for sure.I suspect they moved on to KY and/or IN but that's a guess.
