No, I do not know of a family bible, although there may be one.I do know of census', atlas', county histories, land patents, tax lists, deeds, marriages, court records, cemetery records, church records, military records and other primary records in Shelby Co, MO. and Fauquier Co, VA.
For example: Will of William S. Pickett of Fauquier Co, VA dated 10 Jan 1798. Proved in court 26 Feb 1798 Witnesses: William Metcalf and Joseph Smith. Subscribers: Martin Pickett, Wm. Metcalfe, John Craine, John Wake....I desire my wife Martha one bedstead now at Rice's and (cant read) fire dogs; ... at the end he lists all his children: John S. Pickett, Sanford Pickett,William Pickett, James Pickett, Patty (Pickett) Fishback, Sukey (Pickett) Brady, Molley (Pickett) Jackson, Molly (Pickett) Jackson, Sally (Pickett)Metcalfe, Anna Pickett and Libbey (Pickett) Smith.William S Pickett and James S. Pickett Executors. On 27 Aug 1798 Martha relinquished her dower right to William Sanford Pickett. Teste: Charles Marshall and Charles Pickard/Pinkard?
