PICKENS FAMILY TREE
Posted by: Brenda Simmons Rivera (ID *****0012) Date: July 15, 2004 at 10:24:10

This is in response to message #85, posted by William C. Pickens on Jan 23, 1999. Not knowing for sure if anyone goes back that far to read older messages, I thought I'd start a new one.

I too am a descendant of Robert Pike Pickens and Mariam Davis, through their daughter Annie (m. John Simmons). I'm hoping someone will be able to help me! While I've found numerous references to the fact that Annie and John had died in New Orleans and were supposedly buried there, I've not been able to find any evidence of that. Does anyone know anything, i.e., where they might have lived, when and where exactly they were buried? Anything that might possibly give me a starting point would be very greatly appreciated. Seems I have hit that proverbial brick wall!

I would love to hear from anyone who may be related. I'm willing to share whatever info I can provide.
Thanks.......Brenda
