About 5 years ago, there was a post asking, "do you know who Miriam Davis' parents were? I am trying to find information on Miriam Davis, Nancy Ann Davis, and Robert Watkins Davis. They married children of William Pickens. By chance would their father be David Davis in Augusta Co., VA in 1740??"
In looking at PICKENS-DAVIS marriages, I find that one George DAVIS seems to be the father of these and others. But that's not my mission and I have not really looked hard.
I believe that the Robert DAVIS who married Ann PICKENS (and later Mildred ?Alexander) may have had a sister who married one Robert Crockett who is believed by some to have been Robert Watkins Crockett junior.
Where do I find, prove, learn the source of, whatever, the middle name of Robert DAVIS was Watkins?
If anyone knows, I'd be awfully grateful.
