Lorraine, I too am very excited at connecting with a cousin from my Picard ancestry! I have connected with a lovely woman to whom I am related through the Gauthiers as well as other cousins in my father's line (Gareaus and Corcorans), but you are my first Picard. I sent you an e-mail but obviously you never received it, nor did it bounce back to me.
I have sent you another test e-mail, but in case that does not reach you, my e-mail is cully@videotron.ca - I would love to send you an invitation to my tree on Ancestry.
I have the Picard line going back to Gabriel Picard who was born in 1595. I am not sure if we are descended from the Picard dit Lafortune line or the Picard Destroismaisons line - maybe both or neither? Hopefully you can clarify that for me.
