Anybody could help me?

My grand-grand father is Joseph-Pierre Marchand, maried to Mary Lahaie in Biddeford,ME August 28 1893.
Drouin is giving Zephirin Marchant and Henriette Poitras as parents of Joseph-Pierre, maried ca. 1880 But the Berwick,ME census in 1880 shows that Henriette Poitras was his step-daughter. Zephirin was married to an Henriette but it cant be Henriette Poitras. This Henriette X was the mother of Henriette Poitras and has been previously married to Mr. X ??...probably in N.H where Henriette Poitras was born (b. NH ca 1864) as her sister Eloise (b.Mass ca 1865)
Zephirin had four children on this census: Joseph (b.Canada ca 1871), Elisabeth (b. Mass ca 1874) Melina(?) (b.Mass ca.1875) and Leonie(?) (b. Canada ca.1878)

The only other solution is that Henriette gave Poitras has surname for her daughters even if the reality was not exactly as clear...and maybe Picard??

Any clue about this mystery???

Zephirin and Henriette are my grand-grand-grand parents.
