Have been looking at forum room and saw your notice for John Piacentino. My late partner was a Piacentini. Having spoken to his Dad, who was born in Malta of an Italian father, he told me the family went from Piacenza Italy to Malta then on to Egypt, finally his family and one of his brothers and Mother came to Australia. The other 3 brothers settled in America from Egypt. I beleive my Father in Law does not hear from them now, though he was the youngest and is about 77 now.
Once we get on the net, it is surely a small world. I know from other family names that, the spelling is sometimes different in the one line.
