Hi Russell, I found a John Fy who had an entry posted in a Ranger Book, 1817-1860. The information was about his buros and hogs. It said that he lived in Jackson Co. on the Fort Blount Road. There are also some early land records for a John, Christopher, Phillip, and Josiah Phy. This information is in a Plat Book for 1825-1839. Hope this helps.
