Josiah Phy was my great, great grandfather. He was married to Nancy Phillips. Josiah's father was also Josiah Phy, b. abt. 1773 in NC. He married Sally Conway, who was the daughter of Louis Conway, born abt. 1749 NC.
Josiah's son, Frances Marion Phy, was my great grandfather, his daughter, Martha Frances Phy, was my grandmother. Yes, I have the Phy line on both my paternal grandparents and my maternal grandparents lines.
