My great grandfather was Marrion Phy, b. 31 Aug 1837, d. 26 Sep 1915. His father was Silas Josiah Phy b. 10 May 1799 in NC, d. 1871/1880 in Tenn. His mother was Nancy Phillips. However, my great grandfather Marrion Phy was married to Mary Bullington, not Maggie, so perhaps it is not the same person. There are a lot of Phys in this area (Putnam County, Tennessee.)
