....Half the old pro photos I have, or have seen, are with a 'one armed wicker chair'. I have some from different studios that have the same chair, or similar. I've come to believe that it was a standard in older photographer's studios. Most of them have turned out to be late 1890's or early 1900's tho. So the chair may be good for 'dating'.
....Good luck following every little clue tho. Little clues, in photos, have lead to some great finds for me. Sometimes just putting it away and looking at it 'fresh', makes a clue stand out that didn't 'show' itself before.
