curling/warping

I have several dozen photos ranging from the late 1800's to the 1960's. I'm working on a project to have a few restored and the rest scanned in digitally but I also want to mount the originals in an archive quality photo album.

After the death of my great-grandparents these pictures sat in a box in my grandma's basement for 20 years. Nearly all of them were left in the open too long and are a little curled.

Is there a way I can flatten them out without damaging the pictures?
