Oct 3, 1929. looks to be from the same family? What do you think? This info (except the marriage)is from his death cert.... John Phipps of Emmanuel Knox Co., Ky. is the son of Jake Phipps(Jacob)& Virginia Thompson (Jennie)both of Knox Co., Ky. no date of birth given. born Knox Co., Ky. married Martha Woods (Presumably the daughter of John & Louisa LNU Woods.) Dec. 23, 1875. in Knox Co., Ky. Died on Oct. 3, 1928 of Cerebral Hemorrhage. He was a farmer. buried on Oct. 5, 1928 in Phipps Cemetery. Then.... I found Jacob Phipps death cert. which states that he was born July ? 1849. died April 30, 1936. at age of 86yrs. 8mths. 16 days.s/o Jacob Phipps born Va. and Jennie Thompson born Va. I assume this is the brother to John Phipps. Glenda Notify Administrator about this message?
