Jarman Davis may be from Salem County, NJ. A Jarman Davis of Piscataway, NJ, married Esther Ayres (Ayars). They had a son named Jarman who appears to have joined the British army during the revolution. He was assigned to a Loyalist unit. A Salem County "inquisition" in 1778 found that it was so. I think he was a cousin of Samuel Davis, who was found to have done the same. Notify Administrator about this message?
