Nimrod Phinney, son of Carlos Phinney (born circa 1807-09, CT.) and Mary Long Phinney (b. 1812, PA)was born 1842 KY. Served with the KY 23 Regiment (Union) Company G. He died 28 January 1914, age 78 years. 24 days. He died from senility debility. I.P. Norton Funeral Home. He is buried in Woodmere Cemetery , Detriot, Wayne County, MI.
