July 31 2005 Richard passed away while in his sleep at the Pines nurseing home in Machias, New York. Richard Was 89yr and 11 months old. Born on Aug. 28th 1915 in the township on Yorkshire, Catt. County ny. His father was Alonzo, Grandfather Andrew. He was laid to rest next to Andrew on Aug 2nd 2005 in McKinstrey cemetery, Delavan, ny. He had 2 sons Jeffrey l (me), and Richard jr. Both born in Springville ny. Richard Serve in ww2 (41-45)as a tec 4 in the 2nd armered div, under Patton. He was a kind man that love dogs!! We kid about that any dog that happened to come to him. Hit the doggy lottery. On his stone r the words: A DOGS BEST FRIEND As he would give them a home and a full belly!!!! REST IN PEACE DAD
