Waco Contractor,
Dies At Home.
R.F. (Bob) Smith died Tuesday morning at his home at 1400 South Eleventh. He was 62.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Compton's Funeral Home.
Mr. Smith was born in Rosebud. He had lived in Waco the past 60 years. He was a construction contractor. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World lodge.
He is survived by his wife; his mother, Mrs. Nellie Ryder of Houston; one son, R.F. Smith, Jr. of Houston; four brothers, Dan L. Smith of Waco, Herman Smith, Bennie L. Smith and Oliver L. Smith all of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. E.E. Goodwin, Mrs. Clara Shirley and Mrs. Nona Phillips, all of Houston; two grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday, Rev. A.C. Lane, officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
Survivors: his wife; his mother, Nellie Ryder of Houston; one son, Robert Fountain Smith, Jr. of Houston; four brothers, Dan L. Smith of Waco; Herman Smith, Bennie L. Smith and Oliver L. Smith, all of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. E.E. Goodwin, Mrs. Clara Shirley and Mrs. Nona Phillips, all of Houston; two grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Alvin Gill, J.T. Goodwin, N.L. Oats, James C. Allen, J.L. Brod, Larvis Sanders.
