Here's what I have. I have a 1860 census that has James Phillips age 33, birthplace Virginia, living in Bloom Scioto, OH. He is married to Nancy, and has the following children. Martha A., 1845, William 1846 John 1852 (my great grandfather) Isaiah 1850, Abner 1856 James R. 1857, and Mary Ann 1859.
John married Celia Regan in 1882. It said on the census that father was born in Virginia and mother was born in Kentucky. They had 7 living children. Bertha 1884, John R 1886, Celia M 1888 Myrtle 1890, Forest 1892, Norris 1894, and Harry 1897. That is all that I have on John and James. I've hit a brick wall.
