Thank you for your response, Nancy.
I am aware of the men who participated in the DNA project, but no one still knows any additional information on our John Phillips. (Parentage, the when & whereabouts in NC he was actually born, etc.)
I am hoping that one day another descendant from one of John Phillips & his wife Sarah Hay Phillips' children (besides Patton & Ambrose,) will have more information about our particular Phillips' family line.
I'm looking forward to the day when there will be a major break through in the missing information, as do many other Phillips' searching for their family members. :-)
