Our Phillips photo album goes back to the mid and latter 1800s. Many are unidentified.
Our Phillips history is of Darius Phillips b: 1800, either Ma. or CT., married Harriet Hall b: 1810. They married in Richmond, Ontario Co., NY. Moved to Clarkson, Monroe Co., NY and then to Victor, NY. Some of there 12 children also moved to Michigan. Both Darius & Harriet are buried in Victor, NY.
I have many old photos, but few are identified with names.
(1) George Phillips (son of Darius and Harriet) b: abt 1852(Richmond, NY) m: possibly to Cora Rowell 1849-1930. I also have pics of two of his daughters. They are;
(2) Maud Phillips b: ???
(3) Blanche Phillips poss 1879-1914. Grave in Victor, Ny in with this Phillips family is a Blanche Malverne
also have photo of
(4) Carrie Phillips b: 1867/68 m: Burton Marcee/Marcus of Victor, NY. Carrie was the daughter of Nathaniel Phillips b: 1835, Richmond, Ny , son of Darius and Harriet.
(5) Ernest Boughton,(baby pic) born in Victor, Ny to parents John H. Boughton and Grace L. Phillips b: 1862. Grace was another daughter of Nathaniel Phillips.
(6)& (7) are of two daughters of Rowena Phillips, (daughter of Darius and Harriet)and John D. Redman b: 1836 Clarkson, NY. They are
Harriet "Hattie" Redman b: 1860, Clarkson,Monroe Co., NY who married and unk. Mr. Holmes and Jenny Redman, we have no further information on.
We also have photos of some of Harriet's Hall family, a Hubbard and Sally( poss Sarah) Hall. These two photos were taken in Michigan. It is unknown if these two are brother and sister or married. They are on seperate photos.
If anyone has any connection to any of these families and has old photos, please let me know, it may help in identifying some of the old pics I have. If anyone wants a copy of any of the above photos, let me know.
The Boyd connection is of Jane phillips who married Henry Boyd, b: 1833 in Phelps, NY. There children later moved to Michigan (my family).
