In the 1850 census of Owego, Tioga Co., New York there is a household headed by James Fosburgh, as follows:

The Fanny listed in the 1850 census seems like she is a good match for the Fannie listed in the 1880; however, there appears to be a 3 year difference in the ages of James Fosburgh between 1850 and 1880.
I am searching for confirmation that the wife of Richard Phillips was Fanny Fosburgh.
During my search for an answer, I came across a family in the 1900 census that has many similarities to the family enumerated in the 1880 census of Springfield, above. However the dates of birth for Richard and Fanny are different by 1-3 years between census records.

Another piece of data, albeit confusing, are the gravestones for R.W. Phillips and Fannie Phillips in Alba Cemetery. The dates for R.W. Phillips are 1839 – 1916, and the dates for Fannie Phillips are 1871 – 1926.
Any information about the parents and life of Fannie/Fanny (surname unknown) Phillips would be much appreciated. I am trying to determine if she was the daughter of James and Catherine (surname unknown) Fosburgh.
