There is a Pleasant D. Phillips who married Beulah or Bulia Laura Osborne on November 20, 1838 in Harris, Georgia. He has died by the time of the 1880 Census, but she is still living with her son Pleasent Winford Phillips b. 1842 inJamestown, Fentress, Tennessee. This Pleasant was born January 10, 1810 in Kentucky, a son of Cornelius Phillips (1767 NJ - 1834 KY) and his wife Rhoda Shores (1766 NC - 1847 KY). Cornelius Phillips is listed as a pioneer of Wayne County, Kentucky, and his name appears as one of the first 47 people to occupy land there.
You have information on other marriages for Pleasant, or possibly they are two different Pleasant Phillips.
If you think this may be the same Pleasant, let me know on this forum. My email is [email protected].
