Trying to find out if Frank Phillips is possibly a great-great grandfather. My grandfather ,John Franklin (Frank) Phillips, grew up in Pike County,KY. His Father's name was Louis F.(Frank) (?) and mother's name was Vicy. Also trying to find out where Louis (Frank)Phillips died. Was told he died in a coal mine in Freeburn,KY. in approx.1922. Cannot find any records of any coal mine casualties that agree with this date. Louis (Frank)may not have actually worked in the mine. The story I was told that he was a preacher and that he went back into the mine to help when he was killed.John Franklin Phillips was born July 8,1905. Moved to Wayne County, West Virginia (approx. Fort Gay) Where my Father,James Corbett Phillips was born.It seems that all roads i"ve taken seem to lead back to Pike, County, KY
