Yes, that is my aunt Charotte and uncle Cecil of Longcreek.I know who you mean!I was able t surprise allot of relatives at the reunion with informatio I had and other's were too with information they had.Us "Phillip's" have an untold side through outour history. It just depends on which side of the branch you lived on some times whether you got both sides of the family story, know what I mean!I have a large suit case of new information, documents mostly of census, state historical or federal records that I obtained just this past summer.I need to go through it all, but it is going to be very time consuming.Try sending me another email address or call me.I'm absolutely know we are relatives. There is another web site I have seen the same information I have on it (partly anyway, but I have the documentation). I would like for you to go to the following web site:http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com......http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com.......Put a search in for the following name:John Sloan Phillips (use John Sloan as the first name and Phillips as the last name). It will come up with thousands of results. But, on the left side of the page you can choose from which search profile you want to look at, choose "World Connect".It will then bring up a page for John Sloan Phillips ofwhich is the 3-great grand son or nephew of your relative from Jonas Phillips.I even have the US Postal records of these Phillips's as the first Post Master General's of the Longcreek Post Office.Keep following these pages back further and further till you read the names Jonas (several times the name Jonas show up, so keep following back) with the parents your looking for.Keep in touch, try to email again, my computer is acting up lately.Julia.
