I have a document created by some nuns that traced the Phillippo name back to about 1040 AD that may be of use to you it has the Phillippo Coat of Arms And alot of interesting info. If you are interested I will Scan it for you. It does say that the Name was once spelled Phillippe
It talks of Knights And Famuos Artists And give names of reference Material, And libaries where to find them (and there not
