Alva Phillips--Byesville Guernsey County

Hi,
I am looking for info on Alva Phillips b around 1867 who lived in Byesville around 1923. I believe he died after 1944 as I can't find him on Ohio's Death Certificate Index. I have seen his middle initial listed as J but I've also seen his middle name listed as Melitis. I believe he was born in Morgan County and his parents were Alva James Phillips and Louisa Hess. His siblings were William Montgomery (Munn) Phillips, Edward Phillips, Susannah (Annie) married name unknown possibly Billinsgleigh, Magaret (Maggie) Glidden, Emely (Emma) Lippincot, Clara Featherstone. Any info is greatly appreciated.
