Francisco Zamora born about 1834
Posted by: Phillipa Gawne (ID *****5094) Date: October 09, 2012 at 06:32:10

I am trying to trace the roots of my family on my mother's side of the familt. Story has it that Francisco had 12 sisters and left the Philippines because he did not want to become a priest. he jumped ship in Sydney in Australia and and married Mary Ann Lovett. We cannot find a death certificate for Francisco but can trace things back to my great grandmothers Emily Zamora who was the daughter of Francisco. So we only have the oral history of the family. it has been assumed he was born in Manila, but of course it is impossible to trace without his father and mother's names.

I am hoping some one might be able to help me with this search into our past.
