Looking for info on the family of Sarah M Philbrook/Philbrick who married John F Black 10/4/1878 in San Luis Obispo Co, CA. Sarah was born between 1843 and 1848, depending on the census, in Maine. She indicated her parents were born in Maine. There are several Philbrick's in San Luis Obispo in the 1870s, but I cannot connect Sarah to any of them directly. I cannot confirm she is any of the Sarah Philbrick/Philbrooks in the ME 1850 census. Could she be a widow of a Philbrook from ME? Can anyone help me here?
