I'm a Philbrick and live not too far from the original area the family settled in 1623. By the way, the Philbricks were the first settlers of NH. I have extensive records on the family. James was born in 1619 in Bures St. Mary, Suffolk England. He died on Novermber 16th in 1674 in Hampton, NH. He was married to Ann Roberts. She was born in 1631 and died on February 10, 1692 or93. He was also married before to Jane Roberts, but they had no children. James' parents were Thomas and Elizabeth Philbrick. Thomas came over around 1623. He was a shipbuilder and first settled in Watertown, Mass. He eventually moved to Hampton, NH in the 1650's. Let me know if you need anything else.
