Christina Fuller Philbrook was born March 6, 1825 in Northport, Waldo Co., Maine. Died Dec. 2, 1899. Married Ambrose J. Morrison on Oct. 9, 1848 in Belfast, Waldo Co., Maine. She was the daughter of John Philbrook and Hannah Knowles (daughter of Simon Knowles & Lydia Fuller). Hannah Knowles-Philbrook was born Feb. 5, 1804 in Northport, Waldo Co., Maine and died Jan. 3, 1879 in Belfast, Waldo Co., Maine. John and Hannah are both buried in East Knox Cemetery, Knox, Knox Co., Maine. Vital records of Belfast, ME says "Hannah Philbrook died Jan. 3, 1879, a. 77" John & Hannah had 4 daughters:

Christina Fuller Philbrook

Nancy Jane Philbrook

Lydia A. Philbrook - b. 1835; died May 21, 1837

Amanda A. Philbrook - b. Abt. 1840, ME; Married Joseph E. Johnson on Aug. 23, 1863 in Belfast, Waldo Co., ME. She is buried at E. Knox Cem.

John's heritage is not known, however Hannah Knowles-Philbrook is the grand-daughter of John Knowles & Lydia Philbrick-Knowles (daughter of Joseph Philbrick & Elizabeth Perkins-Philbrick).

John Philbrook may be the nephew of Thomas Gordan Philbrook/Philbrick. There is a "John Philbrook" birth date unknown, son of Jonathan Philbrook & Esther Russell-Philbrook. Jonathan is brother of Thomas Gordan Philbrick/Philbrook.

John & Hannah Philbrook are found living in Knox, Maine in the 1850 Census just a short ways from Thomas G. Philbrook & his wife Eleanor. Also near by is a Nathan Philbrook who is probably also connected to Thomas Gordan Philbrook and may even be John's brother.
