Hi Judy,
Here is the closest match between your info and mine.
One Lewis E. Philbrick lived in Gardiner ME for a few years
around 1889. He is unconnected, as far as I know, so I can't
give you ancestors or descendants. As far as occupation, that
is not recorded in my information but the original marriage
record in Gardiner may have it and possibly a town directory
exists. Here are the records I did find:

Lewis E. Philbrick married Lizzie P. Pray 23 Mar 1887 in
Gardiner ME Intention also filed.

George Lewis Philbrick b 17 Nov 1888 son of Lewis Philbrick

Georgie Philbrick d 15 Apr 1890 son of Lewis Philbrick ( The
graveyard record says George Lewis Philbrick 16 Apr 1890)

These records are all from the Gardiner records. Statewide
registration of BMD began in ME in 1892 and I can't find
any more info there so he may have left ME.
