This is all the information I have come Across while researching the griffith Family any information before or after the dates given would be greatly appreciated.

Hersilia Sherwin, b. Feb. 3, 1824; d. Oct. 10, 1904, was the third child of Milton and Flora Griffith Sherwin. She married John Phetteplace, Nov. 19, 1845. Seven Children:

       Christiana Phetteplace, b. Sept. 1, 1846; d. Aug. 19, 1905.
       Alice P. Phetteplace, b. Dec. 8, 1847; d. June 14, 1913.
       Emma Phetteplace, b. Nov. 23, 1849; d. Apr. 20, 1878.
       Frank Phetteplace, b. Apr. 3, 1853.
       Charles Phetteplace, b. Dec. 14, 1855; d. Mar. 22,1904.
       Cyrus Phetteplace, b. May, 1858.
       John Phetteplace, Jr., b. July 8, 1868; d. May 5, 1899.

Alice, second child of John and Hersilia Sherwin Phetteplace, m. Henry Lucas, June 3, 1867. Two Children:

       Louis Lucas, b. Mar. 30, 1868.
       Belle Lucas, b. June 14, 1877.
Louis, first child of Henry And Alice Phetteplace Lucas, m. Grace H. Brown, Oct 12, 1903. One son:

       Stuart Brown Lucas, b. Sept. 20, 1904.

Frank, fourth child of John and Hersilia Sherwin Phetteplace, m. Ella Waterman, June 24, 1875. One son:

       George R. Phetteplace, b. Mar. 4, 1879.

George R. Phetteplace m. Mollie Newton, Mar. 28, 1900. One Daughter:

       Doris Isabelle Phetteplace, b. Jan. 24, 1902.

Cyrus, sixth child of John and Hersilia Sherwin Phetteplace, m. Minnie Baker, Nov. 13, 1888. Two children:

       Allan E. Phetteplace, b. May 5, 1891.
       Leon W. Phetteplace, b. Feb. 17, 1898.
