Hi,
I'm descended from Anne's (or Anna as I have her)older sister, Minerva. I believe she was born in Bainbridge, Chenango county, New York since her parents moved there in 1811. She probably went with her oldest sister, Mary (who married Loren Gleason) and her brother, David Thornton, to Wisconsin, since they also died there. In August 1831, she joined the First Congregational Church in Guilford, Chenango county, New York. On 31 Aug 1839, she received a letter of recommendation from the church to the church at Jamestown, Chautauqua county, New York along with her parents. I show her in the 1860 census in Springfield, Erie county, Pennsylvania. I also show that she never married.

I am particularly looking for where in Rhode Island her sister, Minerva, and the other older siblings were born. If you ever find out, please let me know!

Thanks,
Patti Bohanan
