Mildred Phelps Grubb, 92, of Lenoir City, TN, passed away
in Colorado.
She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Tom Grubb; parents, Ira
and Myrtle Allen Phelps; sister, Cereta Phelps; and
brothers, Kenneth and Wayne Phelps.
Surviving are her son, Tommy Grubb and wife, Ginger of
Lenoir City, TN; Janice Martinez and husband, Ray of
Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Matt Grubb of Lenoir
City, TN, Brad Grubb and wife, Mandy of Corryton, Travis
Collins and wife, Lindsey of Lenoir City, TN, Lora Drake
and husband, Zac of Vasser, NC; four great grandchildren;
sisters, Marjorie Phelps and Louise Way both of Lenoir
City, TN, and Laura Jean Gamertsfelder of Knoxville, TN;
and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.,
Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at Click Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Dick
DeMerchant officiating.
Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be made to the Senior Adults, First Baptist Church,
2085 Simpson Road East, Lenoir City, TN 37772.
Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
