Hi Chris,

Well I think I have the general area but now the town of Windsor is cleaning up around this whole area. Seems funny that they would be doing this now as it has not been touched since 1961-1965 and now that I have been poking around they seem to be trying to fix the wrong or they are covering it up some more....I am still trying to find out.

I need all Phelps to come to Windsor and demand where the family plot was / is because there are way to many Phelps graves sites missing for all the ones that were supposebly buried in this town.

Another issue is a tree fell and broke the stone of Josiah Phelps in three places. I got a figure on how much to fix and it is $905.00 which I do not have. I am trying to raise the funds myself but not getting far in this economy. Maybe if everyone sent me a dollar I could get there. It is a shame that the stone was broken as it was really good shape before it was cut in three pieces.

I have another Larry Phelps in Maryland who also came from Lt Timothy Phelps as well. My brother Benjamin E. A. Phelps Jr. lives in the town of Hebron where Lt. Timothy later moved and settled.

My Line is William, Joseph, Joseph, Joseph, Elizah,
Decon Judah, Captain Apollos, Judah, Lawrence, Benjamin and then me...

Thanks for thinking of me.
