Phelps Family

Hello to all Phelps families,

First off, I just want to say isn't it great to be a Phelps. I know I sure feel that way.

I live in Windsor CT and we just celebrated our 375th anniversary for the whole month of September 2008. Windsor CT was established on September 26, 1633. William and George Phelps played big roles in starting this great State and Country we live in. William was in Politics from the start, from Dorchester right to Windsor and was well respected. George did eventually move to Northampton MA where he also played a big role in their establishment.

I also live just a stone throw away from where they both resided in Windsor and where their familes lived and died. I was on the 375 committee and I had both of these two honored for what they did. I am from William Phelps and I wish I could shake his hand.

We owe alot to these two men and the other Phelps mentioned(Richard, Henry, Nicholas, Thomas, and James as I feel we are all related in someway.

If you are ever in Windsor, please look me up. I love to here your stories.

Someday it would also be great if we could all meet somewhere in the middle and have one Big Reunion. I love to see the Phelps name up in lights, we owe some of that to Michael Phelps.

Well take care,

Larry Phelps
