Looking for any info on Phebus family from Frederick County and Carroll County Maryland.Got back to Alonzo Phebus(and wife Ella) and brother William C. Phebus,b.? -d 11/18/1947,he was 59 yrs old at time of death,(and wife Lucy).Their parents were Charles and Mary Crummitt Phebus.Lose track of the brothers before 1910,
Can not locate parents at all in Maryland.connection is based on Williams Obituary

-William C. Phebus Obituary-
William C. Phebus died Tuesday,(11/18/1947) at 1:25
O'Clock at his home in Ridgeville,aged 59 years.
He was born in Frederick County a son of the late
Charles and Mary Crummitt Phebus.Surviving are his
widow,Lucy V. Phebus and the following children;Mrs
Wilfred Green,Frederickat home;Mrs Benjamin
Baublitz,Frederick;William C. Phebus Jr.,Baltimore;Mrs
Elmer Chick,Tuscarora;Mrs Lois Phebus,at home;two
sisters; Mrs May Bowen and Mrs Elizabeth Poole,t.
Airy.One brother, Alonzo Phebus,Union Bridge,also
survice in addition to four grandchildren.Friends may
call at the late residence after 7 O'Clock
tonight.Funeral service from the home Friday morning
at 10:15 O'Clock.Followed by final rites in Jennings
Chapel,near Florence at 11 O'Clock conducted by
Reverend Carl Smith and Reverend Paul Henry.Interrment
adjoining cemetery.C.M. Waltz Funeral Director.
