I have been looking for the parents of Marceline Phaneuf(who is my great-great grandmother). I received a copy of her death certificate today, and while it listed her parents, I once again I am stumped!
Here is what I know;
Marceline Phaneuf was born May 1932 in Canada. Her parents were Joseph Phaneuf and Margaret Ladue. She married Paul Paquin 21 Jan 1851, in Canada (Bagot?), She came to the US in 1877, and died in Marlborough Massachusetts 23 Feb 1822.
Does anyone out there have any idea where this Joseph Phaneuf comes from? I would REALLY appreciate any direction on this! Thank you!
