our line has ancestry noted as from:

John Pfoutz b 1742
Pfoutz Valley Cumberland Co PA
+ m. Mary Ann Crane,
John Pfoutz b 1782
+m. Sarah Richards
Mary Ann Pfoutz b 1818
+ m. John Sebring

I am seeking more info on this John and wondering if your book ties him into the John Michael Pfautz line, I suspect they are connected. Also seeking any more info on the Crane, Richards and Sebring ancestry if parents are also noted in the lines listed. I would love to get a copy of the book you mentioned.

Also I show a wedding date for the older John as Mar 20 1793, but that doesn't fit with the age or borth date of the John listed as his son.

Mary Ann Crane is buried in Pine Creek Pres. Cemetery near Jersey Shore PA, which is north up the Susquehanna river from Harrisburg, which is west of Lancaster. Not sure if John is there. I am trying to connect her to other Crane/Crain families in PA at that time.

I've got some additonal info on Conrad Pfoutz and supposed connections to the Gen. Simon Cameron's family i will post also, but I wanted to read the other posts on the forum first.
