I don't have a clue. The Walter Pfeil I'm looking for was born about 1908 in NY. He married Evelyn Ayers about 1928. They are living in the household of Evelyn's mother, Anna Ayers on the 1930 Federal Census. They are living on 95th ST, in Manhattan I believe it was. Walter and Evelyn have been married approx 2 yrs. as he was 20 when they maried and she was 19. They have no children as of that date. Walter was a mechanic at an auto body shop as was his brother in law, Milton Ayers. My fiance, Charlie Ayer's father was Milton Ayers. I'm doing his family line for him, as he knows very little about his ancestors. Charlie just remembers his Aunt Evelyn being called "little Evelyn, and her mother as "Big Evelyn", although on records Big Evelyn is always listed as Anna. He doesn't remember her having a husband, so don't know if she was divorced from Walter Pfeil or if he died, or just never came around. Most of Charlie's family stayed around Manhattan and/or the Bronx.

If you think this might be your Walter Pfeil and if you would like the Ayers info, that I have, will be glad to share with you.
