I do not have a Daniel Niklaus Pfarrer in my database. However, he probably fits into the family at some point. My first Pfarrer ancestor was my third great-grandmother, Maria Magdalena Pfarrer. She was born in 1787 and died in 1830, so most of the research I have done has been back from her.

The Pfarrer's were an interesting family. They were Wasenmeisters (disposed of the dead animals in the villages and also were sometimes executioners as well). Since this was not high on the list of favorable occupations, they tended to marry into other families of Wasenmeisters and moved all over Switzerland.

Do you know who Daniel Nicklaus Pfarrer's parents were? If you don't, the parish records are on microfilm and available through your local LDS Family History Center. It is entirely possible that he fits in somewhere. Perhaps he was christened in Bolligen, but his home village is elsewhere and there might also be a christening record there for him. If you have any more questions, just let me know.
